Lisa Fruitt launched Fruitt Communications in 1991 following a 10-year career in
corporate communications. She directs the development of all accounts, serves as
copywriter, public relations strategist, and account manager, and collaborates with
graphic designers, publicists, and other professionals to create integrated marketing
programs.
Since its founding, the
firm has worked with such noted organizations as Fidelity Capital, Sodexho,
Community Newspaper Company, and ITT Sheraton.

Created marketing and communications programs for national environmental engineering
firm. Developed new proposal system, wrote and placed by-lined articles for senior
management, and managed an acquisition and name change.
1983 - 1991

Guest Quarters Suite Hotels
(formerly Beacon Hotel Corporation, now DoubleTree Hotels)
Directed the national corporate
communications program for leading hotel development and management company. Managed
ground-up communications for 17 new hotels; directed marketing for two major multi-property
acquisitions; placed more than 100 articles in trade and consumer publications.
